They wanted to put the stair lift in earlier but I couldn`t accept due to other commitments. The service was very prompt from time of estimating to the installation only a week later.

The first unit failed so they had to reinstall with another one after initially trying to fix with new parts. Because of our lost confidence in their product, they also doubled the warranty based on the previous problems we had. Based on the most recent unit installed I would still give 5 out of 5 for quality and can only praise them for how they have dealt with the situation. The service is very good and I would recommend Acorn.

Absolutely brilliant, from the time I made the enquiry to it being fitted in about 4 days. I cant give enough praise to them, they were fantastic, particularly the engineer who came out - he was brilliant in what he did.

I was a bit concerned about the speed of the stair lift- it goes very slow around the many bends but they say it has to be that way to remain level.

All very good except for a few issues with the stair lift mechanism stalling now and again but I will contact Acorn shortly about this. It doesn`t prevent us from using it.

The quality of the product is very good and the sales guy was great and we are happy with how quick they installed but the installers professionalism was abysmal, he kept talking to my mother about giving payment, when it had already been agreed we would pay to Acorn after the job. I have placed a complaint about this, so because of him in this area, I would not recommend Acorn.

Yes they were very good, they arrived earlier than expected and finished after only 3 hours. I am pleased with the quality and would recommend them.

It was great from start to finish and they fitted it quicker than I expected. It was just a disappointment that I`ve got so many calls since, particularly from the company trying to sell me insurance for a year ahead, when I feel this should be explained at the time of selling only. Other than that, everything was really good.

Nothing more to say. I was very happy.

I was happy with the service apart from I feel the engineer was given too much work to do that day which caused him to be delayed to me by 2.5 hours. He had been given 2 extra jobs at the last minute and didn`t finish his long day until 21:45pm. He was a superb technician though and cannot fault his work.

I was a bit rushed at the time so I had to make a decision. We could have done with a little more explanation on certain things. I already told them over the phone that I`m not happy with the constant red flashing light for the battery, but they say everyone says that. I have a hand wheel if it breaks down and I`m not sure how to use that either. However, its all ok for now.
