Absolutely brilliant. I have already recommended them as a company to a friend in hospital who may need one for their return home.The engineer even came out at 9pm to show my wife how to use it when she returned from hospital. I`m so pleased with them.

They were polite, came out and estimated and everything was very good.

The quote was over and above as it had an extra but they noticed it was wrong and reset the invoice. They were a bit late because they didn`t have all the parts, but once they were in they did it quickly. They did a good clean job, they sent for a gas engineer to sort re-venting the gas fire. I am happy with the service I received.

They did leave something out because when the chap came they said they would put grab rails but they never did. The company promised to install within 5 days, but it wasn`t installed until 7 days after. I think we were told it would take 2.5 hours but it took 5 hours. The day they installed it, I wasn`t very well so I didn`t try it before they left, but then I tried it a day later and realised I couldn`t turn my legs at the top. My leg hits the bannister, die to my condition. The sales guy knew I had this challenge and didn`t suggest The stair lift would present this problem. Its a typical sales person saying one thing and in reality what you get is different. Because we had the straight stair lift, I thought the stair lift would go to the landing area so I could step off, this isn`t the case. I need to see now if I can get the stair lift extended in some way.

From initial consultation they gave a realistic price and no gimmicks in trying to con you into paying more. Everything went fine.

The stair lift was for my wife and it works brilliantly. It is very good quality and we are very happy with it. I find it easy to operate and the company was good to.

The Stair lift is just a little awkward to operate when you get off after the bend at the top of stairs but other than that we found it very very good. The gentleman who came round to do the survey was very satisfactory and we would recommend Acorn to other customers.

We are very happy with the quality of the stair lift and it is very comfortable. The only problem for us is that we found the service charges to be quite high. Other than that everything was really good.

Acorn were the only company that could fit a stair lift for me as I have a very narrow staircase. I received slightly forceful follow up calls trying to sell me their repair contract for 4 years; I found this slightly aggressive as i`d only had it for a week and couldn`t afford more than what I`d already paid.

Best stair lift and we are really happy with it. The Installers left everything so clean and tidy when they had finished. The process itself was so quick and easy and we have already recommended Acorn to other people and given them a demonstration.

Prompt action, my father`s was installed within 3 days of enquiring. I was so pleased that I recommended them to my mother in law. They installed hers within 2 days. I couldn`t fault them.

Hassle free quality service and a fantastic quality product. Great customer service, how all companies should be run.
