Sadly took rather longer and many phone calls to get it removed and money refunded.
due to unforeseen circumstances I needed help with installing a stairlift very quickly. Acorn gave me a detailed estimate and very helpful information next day. Installed within two days of me confirming my order. Couldn't have asked for more.

I contacted Acorn on a Sunday, the surveyor came on the Monday I agreed to buy the stairlift on the Tuesday and it was installed on the Wednesday morning which meant there was no delay in my husband being discharged from hospital to our home where he could access all the necessary facilities.
My family has been through a very difficult time. Acorn were professional , understanding and extremely quick to respond to our situation. We really can’t thank Acorn enough for everything.
There were a few hiccups getting the stairlift installed but the end result is excellent. Would definitely recommend Handicare
The installation date doubled from the sales estimate,(miss selling?) the fitter didn’t turn up on the day and no one apart from us waiting New he wasn’t at work..no call,no apologies. Not their fault however stairlift had to be deinstalled and they gave a 5 week later date. I promised it would be in the front garden within a week, the date got changed to a few days later. They promised at least a bunch of flowers for my mum because of the problems..they never turned up. Absolutely very poor cu
