great service, however a 24hr call out for maintenance would be great as we had to let my dad sleep downstairs as chair lift broke on the way to bed
I had my lift second hand from relatives & Ive never had a problem with it in the seven years I’ve had it. I’ve now updated it for a Meditek. & had nothing but problems with it. I got my lift with help through my social worker & had to pay half the price towards it. I have friends that have stairlifts & stannah was the best.
I’m looking for a replacement as my lift is just working,
So the moral of the story cheap is not best as I’ve found out.

I have made enquires to ascertain whether the speed of the stair lift is adjustable!? Still awaiting a response from Acorn! The surveyor was most efficient and the engineer who fitted the system has made a good job and there was very little making good to be made when the fitting was completed. It is not the cheapest stair lift but you get what you pay for!! We have two curves on our stairs and therefore we spent time investigating the best system which would not inhibit other users of the stai
