Because the person I care for was partly mobile I was told he didn't need live in care, what about the carers? it's a hard job. Maybe they need help so I found it unhelpful and a bit insensitive that he said that. Young carers should get more care and shouldn't be charged their life savings to recieve the tiniest but of help. It's rediculous. I wasn't please with the prices or service at all extortionate prices insensitive advice.
Acorn stairlifts exceeded all my expectations, they were friendly, helpful, the rep came the same day I called & the stairlift was fitted 2 days later. The fitter was friendly, experienced & tidy.

It’s a very good stairlift but having new carpets fitted will be difficult. I am aware that most manufacturers fit in the same way but it is a failing.
Everyone involved very professional. Clean, tidy workers and a pleasure to have in the house.
Was told by salesman it would only take an hour to fit , The fitter who came was excellent very clean and tidy worker , but he did laugh when I said it will only take an hour , then he showed me the fittings . No complaints and very happy . Thank you .
