Pleasure to deal with
The stairlift is rented for 6 months...then I have the option to buy or extend the rental. The rail is mounted on the stair rather than on the wall...a bit like a cog railway...so there shouldn't be too much redecoration required when it is removed. Seems to work well enough...quite slow. Very cleverly the seat swivels at the top so that the user us safe getting off on the landing.

LiveIn care provided a very good and professional service. We had some wonderful carers but when we had ones that weren't so good or were not a good fit for my mother, they found new carers without any issue.
I cannot praise Acorn enough. The surveyor was very professional and explained everything clearly. The stairlift was installed very quickly and when we unfortunately no longer needed it only 3 weeks later, removed it just as quickly

Unicorn stairlifts were very helpful from the first phone call, and we had a re-conditioned stairlift in place within that week. Very good price £795 for fitting and lift, so we are very happy, and our lift is in constant use carrying everything up from me, to heavy boxes, laundry, and even cups of coffee. It’s so smooth, starting and stopping, it doesn’t spill a drop.
I would highly recommend this company. A good all-round service.
