Did not try to persuade me into purchasing extras, the cost also included the electrical work needed for the charging point. All installed by a friendly, helpful engineer.
After months of Handicare engineers fiddling with and filing a joint in our new Stairlift, which made it worse, they eventually decided to change a section but the wrong section was changed which made it worse and then 2 joints rattled. Then a whole new rail was fitted which has made the lift worse than the original one. It has been such a nuisance with telephoning the company and us waiting in for days for engineers we just gave up and put up with this stairlift. It did stop working altogeth

The measuring up was very good prior to the fitting compared to some of the other companies that called.
I was given a price that was all in and kept to.
The first fixing date was cancelled due to something not being delivered as on a pallet somewhere?
Trying to sort that out was fun (not), trying to contact anyone to find out what was happening or when it was being fitted was very tricky. Several times I was promised a call back but no one rang back.

Unfortunately, as the arms on the chair only fold back halfway, the stair lift was not suitable for someone who is wheelchair bound and has to transfer by sliding across in a seated position from one surface to another. Otherwise an excellent product and excellent service
From initial enquiry and visit from assessor to installation was little over three weeks. Each member of staff showed a level of knowledge and thoughtfulness which was impressive. No problem in recommending this firm.
Slightly pricy, but we got excellent very fast service. We feel that Yorkshire water softeners, Kevin and his team gave us fantastic first class quality service. The difference in our water is awesome. The deal they gave us was super, and the results will pay dividends for us. It’s been in 4 weeks now and the difference it has made is truly amazing.
