Had stairlift installed 3 weeks ago. Engineer due tomorrow to sort out some issues. Still waiting to hear about the warranty. Promised a call back but it still hasn’t been forthcoming.

Fast efficient service. 3 days from order to installation of a used Acorn Superglide 130, which is in almost new condition.

Can't get parts from anywhere else and expensive from acorn. £190 just to come and look at lift plus parts charge on top
Stannah were the only company who did a full survey - as distinct from a floor plan - before our order was placed. As a result, it was realised that the original plan was unworkable due to a height restriction, which had not been recognised by any of the other companies.
Clean and fast installation
I can’t say I noticed a big difference in my water. I still get water marks around taps and shower and need to use the same amount of shampoo. Had I’d known the difference was insignificant, I wouldn’t have bothered with the water softener.
last week I submitted a review based on my experience with 'Companion' unfortunately I had to cancel the installation at short notice as my wife was taken into hospital and we knew she had very little time remaining. The Customer Service team said I may be required to pay additional costs over and above the £500 due to the short notice and I would be contacted.
There has been no further contact and therefore I assumed that they was happy to retain the deposit despite my not receiving any co
