It took 10 days from the day it should be fitted, and part was missing, then three days when fitted the same day a few hours later one off the motors stopped working, engineer came back same day and mended it but said if it goes again it will need a new one, this was a brand new stairlift, next day it went again, waited another two days for complete new motor to come and be fitted, now had working 24 hours and hopefully it will remain like this.
Despite a rep coming to the house to measure up for the bed when it arrived it didn't fit. No apology or update from the company. Order cancelled after 2 days of non communication. Wouldn't recommend
A bit disappointing because our tight fitting stairs on our first floor required a different chair that would swivel both ways, left or right, to properly accommodate a comfortable exit and transfer from the lift. The chair should swivel left to right. So this is why I gave a poor expectation. As many years as these chairs have been around there should be more adjustments as needed. Especially for how expensive they are.
Stair lift instalment was good. After service is terrible. I have tried many times to call you but you don't call back! I have even called Paul. The person we purchased lift from. But doesn't call back or text back. Would I recommend you NO. Makes me think will we get our 12 month service! I wouldn't recommend you to friends - sorry.
Quick professional service, found a way around a fan stair step to install a straight stairlift for my mum rather than a curved much more expensive lift. Price included stair step modification, grab rails, the lift (new not reconditioned) fitting, swivel turn at top landing, and motorised footplate very pleased indeed with the final cost, very price competitive against two other main stream stairlift suppliers.
there is no joined up process between the sale and then the delivery. you have to argue to get a decent date for fitting- i had explained i needed the lift urgently for my terminal sister and if i had accepted their original fitting date, then it would have been the day before she died! took a lot of arguing and complaining before i got a half acceptable date- and then it was only 4 weeks before she died! great product let down by the team i am afraid
