The other companies we interviewed were good but they took 8-10 weeks to install. Acorn did it three days and less money. I believe everyone waits until you really need it and then you can’t wait that long.
The cost against the value are not really compatible. We think it is very expensive for what we got..
I did not decide to have a lift after talking to various providers
Needed a stair lift, suffer with COPD and could hardly breathe when going up stairs, the service I received from start to finish was excellent.
Fitted the new system fine, no complaints. We told them from start we would need to disconnect it after a few months due to a preiod of building works and then reconnect it. They said fine, just shout if we need a hand. The reality was that they were unwilling to offer advice on a simple reconnecting query, even though we had a plumber on site. They wanted to charge £500 to come out and look. Became very awkward and aloof. Disappointing as this is our second Harvey system and until now had good
Willowbrook bed is ok. But I made some enquiries with adjustamatic beds and they were a nuisance ! Wouldn’t leave me alone as I was moving house !
I DID NOT BUY A LIFT FROM ANYONE. I MADE INQUIRY WITH STILTZ, FAR TOO EXPENSIVE. REGARDS, JERKO BUSIC
