It takes a lot more space on the stairs than I thought it would , when parked at the bottom of the stairs we cannot open our hall cupboard with winter coats , boots , hats , gloves. etc, also the electric meter , we have to move the stairlift round every time we want to access the cupboard, also the front door knocks against it if opened too wide, we are going to have to pay a carpenter to change the hall cupboard door so it opens the other way , hoping that will make it a bit easier , but it’s

I never had a carer, much less a live in.
Where do you people get your information from.
We were told that the stairlift could be installed within 4-5 working days of order being placed.
After many phone calls where I was promised that someone would get back to me (never happened), the stairlift was installed after a fortnight.
